Blog post 4

As a teacher we always feel that we are correct, but that is not true.
To be a successful teacher, we have to ask questions so that it can be a class discussion.
Asking class questions is to check for understanding as a whole class.
You must ask the class numerous of times do they clearly understand the material.
You must always ask the student do they understand the question before moving to the next assignment or subject to be a successful teacher.
A great teacher ask students to not respond with yes or no, but rather give detail about the question.
It makes the student have a high order of thinking.
A teacher should make sure that all students are capable of learning.
Organizing groups will extremely be good for asking questions to be a successful teacher.
Teachers should always ask engaging question and make sure all the students get the question right.
It will always be effective to ask a student to explain a yes or no answer.
Always as a teacher, you should walk students through questions.
A teacher should never ask 2 questions at the same time.
Confusing the kids will not make the kids engaged into learning, but have them stressed.
Include notes for the students when you ask them questions.
Notes will take a load off students, so that they will memorize the question and answer.
As a teacher, you must make sure each student answer a question one at a time for a clear understanding.
Also you can make students respond to other students answers.

  1. I think you misunderstood the video/articles.

You are not suppose to do this... "You must ask the class numerous of times do they clearly understand the material."

'Do you understand?' means "Ask a question before I move on or forever hold your peace." It also allows students who have no idea what is going on nod their heads like they do understand, when instead, they don't.

  2. I like that you said " Teachers should always ask engaging questions and make sure all the students get the questions right". One way to make sure students are engaged, is to ask a question, wait about three seconds, and then pick a random student to answer it. By doing this, it will allow the rest of the students to come up with an answer to the question.

If you organize your paragraphs, your blog post will read smoothly. Also, do not forget to add links to all the videos you watched and that every blog post must have a picture. Good look in EDM310.
